The Gardening group

Keeping the Mansion House gardens at their best

The gardens were laid out in the early 1800's when the owner of the estate, Samuel Farmer, had the Mansion House built.
The gardening group meets, rain or shine, on Thursday mornings to carry out practical tasks to help keep the the gardens looking at their best.
There is always weeding, pruning and planting to be done.
